Ethical Statement
The Journal of Mountain Research (JMR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in publishing. We follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expect all authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers to adhere to these principles.
All funding sources, including grant numbers, must be disclosed. The role of funders in study design, data collection, analysis, or publication must be described.
Authors must comply with relevant ethical guidelines, such as the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethics committee approval, participant consent, and all necessary permissions must be obtained.
Data, abstracts, and ideas must be kept confidential. Authors and reviewers must maintain anonymity in double-blind review.
Errors discovered post-publication will be corrected via notices or, in cases of serious misconduct such as plagiarism, the article may be retracted following COPE guidelines.
Generative AI tools must be used responsibly. Authors remain accountable for all content and must acknowledge any AI use, including tool, version, and purpose. AI cannot be listed as an author.
Plagiarism, duplicate submission, fabrication, and other unethical practices are strictly prohibited. All manuscripts undergo screening with iThenticate.
