    Journal of Mountain Research (JMR) (p-ISSN: 0974-3030, e-ISSN: 2582-5011) is an international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Society for Himalayan Action Research and Development (SHARAD).

    The journal was published annually from December 2006 to 2020 and has been published bi-annually (June and December issues) since 2021. It is affiliated with H.N.B. Garhwal University (A Central University), B.G.R. Campus, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India.

    Scope: The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and scholarly contributions from multidisciplinary areas of physical and natural sciences, with special emphasis on research related to mountain environments. The journal covers the following disciplines:
