Journal of Mountain Research

Journal of Mountain Research (p-ISSN: 0974-3030, e-ISSN: 2582-5011) is an international, peer-reviewed, and cross-referenced scientific journal published by the Society for Himalayan Action Research and Development (SHARAD).

The journal was published annually from December 2006 to 2020 and has been published bi-annually (in June and December) since 2021. It is affiliated with H.N.B. Garhwal University (A Central University), B.G.R. Campus, Pauri, Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India.

Scope: The journal invites original research articles and review papers from multidisciplinary fields across the physical and natural sciences, including:

The journal was listed in the UGC Approved List until May 2018 (Serial No. 3851, Journal No. 43054). Since 2020, it has been indexed in Web of Science and is currently included in the UGC CARE List (Group II).
